Biweekly Recap(04.10–17.10)

Dear Value Network Community,

Over the past few weeks, we’ve worked tirelessly to ensure we deliver on our promise of user-generated markets and make your prediction experience smooth. We’re delighted to announce that the user-generated markets feature is now live and fully functional on the platform.

User-generated markets allow you to create custom markets to place predictions on and increase your earning potentials.

To get started, click on the Create new market button, select the asset, set an expiration date and time, strike price, and click on Create New Market, now you can place predictions on that market and win based on your predictions.

We are working on bridge solutions to enable users to earn commissions in $VNTW and staking. We’re, however, saddled with Ethereum’s high gas fees, which is the blockchain VNTW is on and not suitable for our similarly priced product. But for Binance Smart Chain(BSC), at the moment, we are yet to find a reliable bridge to transfer VNTW from ETH to BSC securely.

Our blockchain-based referral system is the next big thing, allowing marketers to monetize referrals instantly using a tiered pattern.

We’re currently focusing on marketing campaigns and in talks with the Chainlink team to increase product awareness and drive targeted traffic to the platform. We’re starting a crowdfunding campaign soon on WeFunder and putting in all the effort to ensure it goes smoothly as planned; necessary information will be communicated to the general public when available.

So far, over 7,000 predictions have been made on the platform, which is a positive indicator that we’ve come a long way and still have a long way to go.
